We are a group of like-minded, independent individuals who believe that enough is enough. We’re tired of seeing local issues overlooked in favour of political manoeuvring, and we are committed to delivering real change at both town and county levels.
Our mission is clear — putting the needs of Shropshire’s residents first, without the influence of national politics.
Local problems need local solutions. Too often, the issues that matter most to our communities, like fixing potholes, improving public transport, or making council tax fairer, are pushed aside by political parties focused on their broader, national interests.
We understand that local councils have sometimes become stepping stones for career politicians, individuals who use our towns and county as mere platforms to climb the political ladder. Shropshire First is different.
